Current and previous research work

Designing Animal-Driven Interactive Systems for the Mutual Well-Being of Companion Cats and Their Caregivers

This research designs animal-driven technologies that let companion cats initiate remote interaction with caregivers. I explore animal agency and how these systems support cat and caregiver well-being at home and in veterinary settings.

Design and Evaluation of Multimodal Feedback in Human–Computer Interaction

This research explored visual and haptic feedback across road safety, drone operation, sports training, visual search, and multitasking, examining their effects on situational awareness, attention, task performance, and user experience.

The Impact of Social Robots on Human Behaviour

This research investigated how social robots influence human behaviour, task performance, and user acceptance, examining the effects of robot presence, interaction characteristics, emotional design, and communication styles.

“Meow-bius”: A Telepresence-Based Remote Human–Cat Interaction System

This research explored telepresence-based human–cat interaction during separation, using a haptic vest, an interactive Twin Cat, and a cat nest to enable remote observation and touch-based interaction.
